Because Of You

Even if the
sun refuses to shine
stars lost thier glitters,
sky gathers dark clouds
I am with you 'til the end.

Even if our
world passes away
time stops to move,
ocean changes its course
I will always love you.

Because of you
I have the reasons to smile
My heart continues to beat,
I have the strength to live on
My soul delights in love.

Because of you
My life is filled with light
Tears take no place at all,
My days are prolonged
Death is not a sting anymore.

I'm Dying Inside

Poisoned words have killed my mind
Left me wandering to grasp for light,
Nowhere in place, so hard to find
Exhausted care, losing my might.

Left me wandering to grasp for light
I've been neglected in all my days,
Nowhere in place, so hard to find
Groping for spark of sunlight rays.

I've been neglected in all my days
Nothing left in me but unwanted gift,
Groping for spark of sunlight rays
I'm dying inside and begging a lift.

Nothing left in me but unwanted gift
I learned to accept this game of life,
That passion and thoughts have its shift
Courageous enough to face with strife.

I learned to accept this game of life
Nowhere in place, so hard to find,
Courageous enough to face with strife
Poisoned words have killed my mind.

Carnival

Can you see people in the throng?
They come and go with big smile.
Apparently they go to the carnival
To experience hilarious rides and shows.
Regardless of cold, frosty white snow,
Eyes are bewitched by coasters and slides.
Now ready for a family surprise treat,
Children are eager, pleased to wait.
Interesting lights and music fill the air,
Making a carnival a perfect season.
Vast of friends saying, "Hi and hello"
"Come with us, and let's have some fun!"
An annual gathering of tricks and games,
Most awaited by children and folks.
Laughing all the way, the cool carnival
Will be coming next year, horray!

By The Blue Sea

By the blue sea
I watch the beautiful sunset.
By the blue sea
I sip my cold, refreshing tea
Running, playing with sands, I bet
Searching my lover caused me fret.
By the sea.

Feeling her love
Flies me to the majestic moon.
Feeling her love
Helps me spread my wings like a dove.
Coming to her way very soon
Kissing her sweetly, is my boon.
Feeling her love.

Life's In Vain

Dark angel
Clothed in white apparel
Stood in the air waiting for someone.

To trap people in snare and be numbered as one
In weeping souls and shattered hopes were sadly gone.

Anguished soul with unbearable pain
Forever marked by stain
Life's in vain.

Grant My Wishes

An abounding love for me and for everyone
Where hatred is no longer a word or a feeling.

Be more forgiving and not easily provoked
Subsue my heart with Christ-like attitude.

To rise above the blue and possess inner strength
With this I will be happy and have contentment.

More wisdom with an understanding heart
By this I see everything in proper perspective.

Prioritize others if they are more needful than myself
In this way my patience is tested and improved.

A Ladder To Heaven

If I ever had a ladder to heaven
I would be there and ask everything
Knock on heaven's door and wonder,
To witness a concord of angels in praise.

If I ever had a ladder to heaven
I would be there each cool and clear night,
Eager to capture the moon and stars above
Standing in awe of these grand creations made.

If I ever had a ladder to heaven
I would look for the great and noble men,
Willing to learn from their endless wisdom
Follow well-trodden footsteps to be with them.

How I would these things will come
While I live, I know it couldn't be done
A ladder to heaven is just my sweet dream
Sweet dream coming true when life here is over.

Life Chemistry

Happiness glitters those with willing mind
Sadness haunts most in cruel intentions
Charity sparks bright to those who are kind
Greed stains one's soul with bitter emotions

Success radiates those who follow their paths
Failure darkens unpure heart who loves rage
Life crowns those men having hope and glory
Death paves the way to justice and mercy.

Open your whole life
Let other see what's inside
Making it so bright.

Accept who you are
Then power flows in your heart
To respect all men.

Like a bridge it links
Human race to understand
The power within.

Take The First Step

What makes your first step a hard one my dear?
Know that your God the greatest of all will be there,
To assist and guide before your life's journey
Take the first step and I will take the rest of it.

If your love for me is less comparable to wealth
I can wait, but be in a hurry 'cause now is the time,
To worship me with all your might, mind, and strength.
I have a trust on you that you can do your best.

Take the first step to honestly forgive your enemies
I will forgive those whom I will forgive, but of you
You ought to forgive all men though it cut your heart
Only in that step you acquire solace to your soul.

Don't be weary in doing good things for they
Lay great foundation and add oil to your lamp,
For where your treasure is, there your soul also
Take the first step to love one another as yourself.

Happy Birthday My Son

Do you know that you're now four years old?
It's just like yesterday that mommy bought you a cake
And I gifted you with cars and balloons
With hugs and kisses you loved our presents.

Hear your daddy's wishes though you're far away
Keep that pure smile always and be good at all time
Mommy is crying whenever she sees you in the frame
She loves you like her own son out from her womb.

Happy birthday my son, a simple wish is cheerished
'Til we meet again in this life or on the next world
Where we bind again our ever precious moments
Your dad and mom will patiently wait until that time.

Tell Me That I'm Wrong

Tell me that I'm wrong to love you
My heart breaks into pieces
Poor soul of mine cries too
So where are you now?
Hear my misery
Can't you feel
My all true
Love?

Don't care what the people may say
You against the world I dare
Unjust with their feelings
Mind becomes so dull
Darkness wraps me
They forsake
My last
Breath.

Do we have a great chance to meet
This sojourn full of questions?
I want you to know that
I miss you so much
Let these feelings
Remain to
You and
Me.

The Sting Of Death

The last breath is given up hardly
Soul departs from this mortal clay,
Body lays like cold lonely lamb
Now lifeless, now it's crumbling.

Leaving this unfair world behind tears
Trodding shiftly to mysterious veil,
Tis an everyone's ordeal to pass
Waiting for the Almighty to confront.

Behold the bereave they wail at you
Why rellinquish us your love unfeign,
Memories are cherished, we miss you
Deeply aware you move on with might.

Is the sting of death worth for fear?
To recompense earthly measure of acts,
Death is both losing and winning
A choice one cannot simply ignore.

Thorns and flowers meet our way,
Light and darkness wrap our day.

Walk through valleys and hills
Breathlessly lost in yonder desert,
Wandering alone in vast ocean.

Onward to win a victory
Forward to crown a destiny,
Go for a delightful journey
Press on, march on.

Color Your Life

Love and passion
run through my veins,
Anger and risk
flow down to my blood.

Calm and intellect
spark in my mind,
Peace and luxury
glitter in my heart.

Happiness and creativity
embedded my nerves,
Positivity and hope
fill deep my soul.

Purity and peace
mark my existence,
Goodness and cleanliness
radiate my face.

Elegance and self-control
project my being,
Death and mourning
numb my faculties.

Nature and life
preserve my search,
Envy and jealousy
darken my sight.

Being Myself

Being Ignored
is my daily prize
it gives a mark
that never departs.

Being Hurt
is my secret shadow
it follows my path
wherever I trod.

Being Loved
becomes my teardrops
I want to share
but I don't have.

Being Myself
is now a question
why I'm like this?
what's going on?

Love Me

Love me before you go away
Let us stay together once more,
Feel each other's touch and kisses
Through this lonely and endless night.

Please don't go, say you never will
Love me before you go away,
Hold my hands and pain melts away
I'll be there for you oh baby.

You gonna leave me all alone
Go on, do whatever you want,
Love me before you go away
I want to be with you tonight.

Wonder why you have to leave me
I thought this love would never end,
Where would I be without you now
Love me before you go away.

You Just Left

Beyond my dull imagination you just left
You just left
Breaking my heart in two you just left
Do embraces come to naught?
I miss your loving arms
Sweet caress throughout the night
Loosing my endless charms
You just left.

How painful it is that you just left
You just left
Memories are wilted so you just left
Do you think at all of me?
Everything turns to gray
My faculties becoming numb
Afraid to wander, stray
You just left.

A pact of togetherness oh you just left
You just left
I lay soon to grave why you just left
Are you happy with someone?
My poor heart beats so slow
Calling you from nowhere
Blood never comes to flow
You just left.

Samisen is limited to three stanzas of 8 lines each, with a 3-syllable refrain appearing at the end of lines 1 and 3, and standing alone as lines 2 and 8. The defining the meter has been difficult to find because it has been described many different ways, but it appears to be a regular trochaic pattern ('u) with amphimacers ('u') for the refrain and for the end-rhyme in lines 5 and 7. Lines 1, 3, 4 and 6 have four feet, lines 5 and 7 have three feet, and lines 2 and 8 (the refrain) have one foot.

Who Shall Take The Lead?

In our world of turbulence
Where peace is hardly spelled,
When chaos seems so endless
Who shall take the lead?

Moral decadence comes as natural
Scams are hitting the innocents,
Infidility rises to a new height
When to take the the lead?

Nuclear weapon threatens our habitation
Mother Earth cries for medication,
Love among men fastly wax cold
Heroic acts slowly been told.

Who may take the lead
To combat these evil deeds,
Are we left to go astray
Groping in the light of day.

With a message to convey
Marks a beautiful day.

Invites solace to a new day.

Wake up and do right things
Fulfill your given calling,
Cheer up the lowly and sad
And that's makes you feel glad.

I Walked Alone

A stranger I've met
We danced sweetly all night long
Kissed the night goodbye.

I walked alone dear
Facing pains, tears, and failures
These worth any price.

Why you have left me?
Life's empty without you near
Will we meet again?

Mirror stood so proud
Reflecting our thoughts last night
Shunned cluster of memories.

Sometimes On Heavy Rains

Sometimes
We are lonesome and
Nobody's heart is willing to feel empathy
Confused where to go in this dry and dreary world.
Questions
Keep bothering and ringing in our
Darkened minds while answers are eroding quickly
From much troubled, bruised, and hopeless hearts.
Are we
Courageous or valiant enough
To gladly experience the frightening heavy rains to come
Just like a dear child who humbly submits himself to his parents.
Well..
Here am I and remember
I will be your anchor, your refuge, and your trusted
Friend who embraces you with hands openly to catch you fall.
Don't
Allow blurry vision
Distract your handful hopes
Cheer yourselves with vigor and I will lift you up.

IF WE WERE

If We Were A Tree
Shall We allow loggers to rudely cut out trunks,
Will we amuse them with beauty til we rot?

If We Were A Fish
Shall we ignore the arrogants to kill us,
Will we live long and enjoy the corals for shelter?

If We Were A Bird
Shall we be comfortable with iron cages,
Will we continue chirping and give melodies?

If We Were A Water
Shall we evaporate and be seen no more,
Will we spring out and give life to mankind?

If We Were An Earth
Shall we lose our hope and choose to decay,
Will we move on and live to the extent?

If We Were Them
Shall we feel the same as theirs'
Will we make no thought at all?

Author's note:

Below are some reviews received-

Susan: Http://www.writing.com/authors/rainbowwalkers

I really like this because I think we, as Poets, can become the voices of those that can't speak out: our wildlife, nature, disappearing at such an alarming rate that it scares me. I am frightened if ever to walk out my door and there is not a tree in sight; or birds stop singing or the waters are dry with drought. Its coming if we keep at the rate of destruction we are going. It frightens me. We, as Poets, have a voice, a voice they don't.We NEED TO SCREAM LOUDER for it to stop!

Anthony: Http://www.writing.com/authors/anthonycreed

It is kind of okay. It sets up some emphasis on the viewpoint of nature. the prose is great, and it gives a clear picture of what you are telling, but it isn't catchy enough to make the readers relate to such. for me, the best thing here is to rearrange the construction and selection of words, and this does make an ideal poem item. anyways, keep writing and best of luck!!!

Sherri Gibson: Http://www.writing.com/authors/sherrigibson

This poem says so much to the reader. If everyone would put themselves in the place of our environment, animals, and all of the other beautiful things in the world, maybe they would think twice before polluting and destroying it. More thought should be given to these things, which you relay perfectly in the poem.

PICK THAT PRICKS

Path is rugged and steep

Thorns spread on the unlikely way

Sharp stones cut your helpless feet

Hopes are crushed and vanished like dust.

Hidden wedges come along to weigh

But arise and shine in splendor

Come out from clouds of darkest hue

Look upward in delight and joy.

Rivers of seemingly endless sorrow

Transform into glowing fountain of rays

Sunlight of happy hearts, flowers and tress

Shelter one's pure and unfading love.

Day and Darkness

Twas a lonesome and lifeless night
Stars in heaven lost their bright sight
Tryin’ to mend an ambiguous feeling I have
Looking for love that comes from above.

As I watched the glorious sun
Comfortless day of mine had just begun
Thought my sad expression had vanished
Hoped for things with radiance I cherished.

Prickly high noon road I traced
Saw behind a face flushed from the heat
Deep sorrow painted her fragile face
No hesitation I wished an immense love could give.

Fool was I to close my eyes off from her.

Warmth of peace, where could I hardly grasp
Wounded soul, what happened to me
Quite hand to calm, why there’s none
I walked and contemplated throughout the day.

Alas! A pathway bright to me was unveiled
Sunshine filled my hungry soul at last
Glowed like an earthly clear sky
Silence had been broken turning darkness into day.

Faded Photograph

Faded Photograph

A sight of one faded photograph
Halts my pace at a moment
Asking myself why are you so real
Where are you now, where is our love?

For that precious photograph
Mem'ries of yesteryears come alive
"Shall we dance our song?"
Are the same words I sweetly offer.

There is something on that faded photograph
Only you and I care to know,
Not what the world believes
Not what the people conceive.

Hold still my faded photograph
Can I bring the time back?
Where only the two of us
Separated to live, destined to love.

My one and only photograph
Lies the meaning of my life
Restores the happiness I lost
Fills up my empty broken heart.

LOVE

Love
gives life to a dull world
anchors hope to the desperate
shines light to vast darkness.

Love
undoubtedly understands
mysteriously moves
patiently endures.

Love
beautifies our soul
decorates our life
enriches our days.

Love
cheers up the sad
casts out fear
shows a path we trod.

Love
judges righteously
overcomes defeat
opens a new heart.

Love
makes life complete
binds us together
lasts eternally.

Crownless Queen

Your Highness, Your Majesty!
My Beloved, My Light
A mighty ruler, a lovely queen
Where is your crown?

Your love is of pure gold
Patience unmeasured
Dedication unquestioned
Why empty the throne, queen?

Your scepter is our light
Law is your voice
Your palace is our refuge
Hope is your kingdom.

My reigning queen
Look at the grand ball
What do you see?
How do you feel?

The Royal Court, the chariots
The soldiers, the maids
Necklaces and earrings
Long gowns and silver shoes.
Why forsake them all?

Where are you my queen?
Why leaving us in pain?
The king, princess and prince
Your entourage is waiting.

Arise and be with us
Gather us in your wings
Feel our love, and
Sleep again with all our cares.

Rest now my queen
Till we meet again
In your new heaven
My crownless queen.

Why are we so envious?

Life has its mask
Wonder whom to ask?
Life offers bitterness
To sweeten one's idleness.

Life has its gift
Live, treasure, and lift
Life is a stage
Come play it with courage.

Life has its rainbow
full of colors-red, yellow and blue
Life is a melody
be merry, happy, gay.

Life has its ev'ry thing
get hold of anything
Life is a journey
Life is a foray.

Missin' That Little Boy

This night, I have this feeling I can't bear
I miss a little boy to me so dear,
It would be forever and never be
Life the same when he came to me.

I miss his laughters
Couldn't help hold my tears,
When he called me "daddy!"
He brightened my tough day.

What could he be today?
Was he happy and gay?
Sayin' prayer night and day
"I love you mommy and daddy."

I miss our plays
I miss his hum
I miss our rides
I miss his dance.

I miss that little boy
Keepin' his lovely car toy,
I dream of his kissess
I long for his embraces.

I miss that little boy...
My foster son...my boy...
